How to change the difficulty on your The Forest Server.
To change the difficulty on you’re “The Forrest” server, you simply have to find your servers config files. There are 4 different difficulties available for your server;
- Peaceful: this will remove all cannibals and mutants from the world
- Normal: this is the standard difficulty and is recommended
- Hard: this changes the spawn rate on animals/fish, lower health regen ect. It also increases the spawn rate on mutants that deal more damage.
- Hard Survival: Which increases the difficulty of hard mode further.
How to change
- Access your control panel and stop the server.
- Navigate to Files > Find the Configuration file.
- Open the file using our in-panel text editor and locate “DifficultySettings”
- Adjust the settings accordingly.
- Save the changes you made using the save button at the bottom of the page
- Start your server or, restart your server depending on if you stopped it first.
The changes you made to your difficulty settings should now take effect.
